Glassriver’s latest releases include the acclaimed television series “Black Sands”, which was selected for world premiere at Berlinale and has been commissioned for subsequent seasons. Furthermore, the eight part medical drama “Fractures”, which received a CREATIVE EUROPE MEDIA TV Production Grant. Both “Black Sands” and “Fractures” have been sold to all the Nordic countries and are traveling all around the world. Apart from that Glassriver just launched the fifth season of the popular television series “Ordinary People”, “Ordinary People: Christmas Special” and “Christmas Countdown”. Recent releases also include the second season of “My Funeral”and “Journey”, which was nominated for the Rose D’Or awards and the Venice TV Awards. Glassriver worked as an Associate producer on the feature film “White, White Day” that has won multiple international festival awards and was Iceland’s contribution to the Oscars. Other past projects include the award winning television series “Manners” as well as “Island Songs” with Universal Studios and “Beyond Strength” an independent documentary. The company is currently developing close to 20 other TV and Feature Film projects, genres ranging from comedy to sci-fi. Most notably in the development line are “The Trip”, an 8-part mysterious drama thriller, the crime thriller “Cold Haven”, the nostalgic comedy “Magaluf” and the high concept project “Prison Island”.
